Art Work by Francis Bacon,

So, i have been given the task by my collage to make one or two blogs about some artists that they showed us. these artists have not been chosen by choice, just picked out of a group. here is one work out of their pictures out of the selection that i liked.
 
Why did i choose this work by Bacon?
Well to be truthful it was the only example by him that i was given as reference.

Apparently this is a shot from an old Russian film, but i forget which one.
anyway, i do like this painting. it has depth. It is both creepy, but captures raw emotion.
I can remember having to study artists in GCSE and i chose Bacon, purely because i liked his work.

I remember my art teacher saying that she loved his work as he was able to paint and draw human faces like meat almost, flesh that was ready for the Butcher's mincing machine. I'll stop, probably making you feel ill.

But still. look Francis Bacon up and you will find a verity of works by him, many of them being interesting indeed.
